COVID-19 Update
Friends + Family of Fort Collins,
On July 10th around 3pm we received word that one of our staff tested positive for COVID-19, although he was symptom free. While this person had not been in the restaurant since Monday, July 6th, we immediately closed our doors and contacted the Larimer County Health Department to report the case and to consult them on our next step.
We were instructed that unless more of our staff tested positive, we were not required to close. This presented us with an impossible decision, because even though we encouraged our team to get tested, we still had staff willing to return to work if we remained open. We weighed the risks of closing our doors because of what it could mean as a small business, and what it would mean to our staff who rely on us to pay their bills.
In the end, we decided that the health of our staff and of our guests was undoubtedly of the utmost importance, and that complete transparency regarding this situation was the least we could offer during this confusing and troubling time.
Please be assured that your health and safety will always be our top priority. This was not an easy decision to make, but we firmly believe it was the right one. We will proceed by handling this on a day by day basis as we learn more from pending test results.
